About the Role

NexusPoint Systems is seeking a talented Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our growing team and help position us as Western Australia's premier security-first managed service provider. Reporting directly to Managing Director Alex Nguyen, this part-time role (24 hours per week) is perfect for a marketing professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, tech-focused environment.

As we expand our cybersecurity capabilities and pursue larger enterprise contracts, we need someone who can translate our technical expertise into compelling content that resonates with mid-market business leaders. You'll be the voice behind our digital presence, working closely with our Cybersecurity Lead Marcus Webb and Head of Service Delivery Priya Sharma to showcase our security-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop case studies, whitepapers, and blog posts that demonstrate our cybersecurity expertise and successful client outcomes
  • Social Media Management: Manage our LinkedIn presence with regular posts highlighting industry insights, team achievements, and thought leadership
  • Email Marketing: Create and distribute monthly newsletters to our client base and prospect database
  • Website Content: Collaborate with our team to keep website content fresh, accurate, and aligned with our security-first positioning
  • Marketing Collateral: Design and produce sales materials, service sheets, and presentation templates for our business development efforts
  • Event Support: Coordinate our participation in local business events and industry conferences
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging across all channels that positions NexusPoint as the trusted cybersecurity partner for WA businesses

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 2-4 years in marketing communications, preferably in B2B tech or professional services
  • Content Skills: Strong writing abilities with experience creating technical content for business audiences
  • Digital Marketing: Proficiency with LinkedIn, email marketing platforms, and content management systems
  • Design Capabilities: Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and managed IT services (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Initiative: Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the WA business landscape is highly valued
